Description
This is my grandmothers mint condition 1960’s Era Vintage Corning Ware “Blue Cornflower” Casserole dish/skillet set. The largest is the 1966-1969 P-10-B 10” Square Skillet with the correct P-10-C clear glass lid. The Corning Ware black stamp with the Cornflower stamp on the back dates the item very well. This is in used but excellent condition, my grandma was very meticulous with her dish-wear. This is one of the rarest Early Blue Cornflower 10” Square Skillet. it is the one that every collector or auction site lists as the more desirable and rare dish and has a value of atleast $1,000+, some have sold for 2-3’s that based on condition. The next valuable is the 1966-1969 P-2 1/2-B 2.5 quart Saucepan with the correct P-9-C clear glass lid. The Corning Ware black stamp with the Cornflower stamp on the back dates the item very well. This is in used but excellent condition, my grandma was very meticulous with her dish-wear. This is one of the rarer Early Blue Cornflower 2.5 quart Saucepan and has a value of atleast $850, some have sold for well over that based on condition. Next is the 1966-1969 P-1 3/4-B 1.75 quart Saucepan with the correct P-9-C clear glass lid. The Corning Ware black stamp with the Cornflower stamp on the back also dates the item very well. This is in used but excellent condition. This is one of the more sought after Early Blue Cornflower 1.75 quart Saucepan and has a value of atleast $250, & some have sold for well over that based on condition. Next is the 1969-1972 P-315-B 2 quart Loaf Pan. The Corning Ware black stamp with the Cornflower stamp on the back also dates the item very well. This is in used but excellent condition. This is more of a complete a set dish. It’s an Earlier Blue Cornflower 2 quart Loaf pan and has a value of atleast $50, but it is a much more common dish than the others. Finally are the 1966-1969 & 1972-1979 P-41-B & earlier P-41 1 1/2 cup Petite dishes. The Corning Ware blue P-41 stamp on the back dates the item as the earlier 1966-1969 of which there is one. The other two have the “Hologram” P-41-B Stamp. This is difficult to see except at certain angles and dates these as the 72-79 1 1/2 cup dishes. These are in used but excellent condition. These are some of the more sought after Early Blue Cornflower petit dishes but is again more of a “complete a set” dish. These have a value of around $60 for the set. I am selling this as a set, but am willing to separate if the price is right. There are many dishes online that claim to be authentic and verified, and rely on you to make the call, these have been in my family for 50+ years. And we’re only used for thanksgiving dinners. I have been in contact with Corning Wear experts on Facebook and specialty websites devoted to collecting these and they have all verified the years produced and that the correct lids are with the correct dishes. These are all in collectible condition and will be very well packaged. Please check pictures for condition, ask any questions before ordering, and we use the Global Shipping Program for international shipping.
