Vintage Kockums Jernverk Sweden Soft Cream and Green Enamel Ware Steamer Combo Details Height to handle : 22cm Weight : 1144gm This vintage Kockums Jernverk, Sweden enamel steamer combo is in good used condition. There are minor chips to the enamel which are almost impossible to avoid through everyday use. These do not affect its use or decorative appeal. There is also some faint staining and scratching to the inside and external bases of the saucepans, again through everyday use. The set is finished in pale yellow enamel with green trim. Each saucepan is stamped on the base with the Kockums backstamp. The beauty about this set is that the rim diameter of each saucepan is identical, therefore the lid fits either saucepan so they may be used individually or as a steamer combo. Kockums began creating enamelware in 1893 and while this set is most probably not that old, it does have a 1930s art deco look to it.
