Description

This vintage Corningware 2 1/2 Qt Saucepan is an older model, of the rare 2nd Generation produced in 1960-61 (this generation did not have the typical Corningware letter model number codes, but the equivalent model number would be P-2 1/2-B of later years). It no longer has the original 9 in clear wedge/fin handle lid, but is otherwise in very good vintage condition. (Note about 2nd gen. lids: the later generation Corningware glass lids for P-2 1/2-B with a central knob will fit this pan, but these 2nd generation pans originally had glass lids that had a fin along the center instead of a knob). A few very slight utensil marks are on the interior bottom, along top rim, and under one handle. The iconic Blue Cornflower pattern is a classic among Corningware patterns and made in the USA.
