Description
Buy with confidence. I haven't listed on ebay in several years but have been selling here since 1998 with this and other shop names. Blue and white swirl or dripped agateware/graniteware/enamel medium sized sauce pan with small left side lip. 3 quarts capacity to about an inch below the top edge. Medium blue to my eyes - just a hair of gray and lighter than cobalt blue. Color may differ to your eyes or computer screen setting or light source. Possibly called 'bondi blue'. Body is in fantastic condition with slight color wear to the base at the contact rim. Probably spot welded handle, well covered in glaze. There is a flake along the handle joint seam. Some small bits of missing black on the top rim. The handle has 14 or so finger tip sized chips. Handle has a hanging hole. Inside has the one small chip shown and some crazing in the bottom. There is a pinpoint hole in the glaze only. Heavy gauge metal with thick glaze all around. About 1925-1950 vintage, not a post 1970 reproduction. 17 1/8'' long including the handle. 10 1/4'' across at the lip, 5'' tall body - 7'' tall at the handle end. I do not accept returns, each item is checked over and described. I have been selling and studying antiques since 1974. Ask questions before buying. I do not expect you to know what I'm selling through a couple of pictures and a title so ALL items get a description. USA sales only. Check our Zarahs shop for decorative antiques and period hardware, off ebay. We sell period items with an occasional old copy which will be clearly stated in the descriptions. No New Reproductions.
