Lots of politicians, artists, bohemians and even fictional characters like Vázquez Montalbán’s detective Pepe Carvalho have visited this historical place. Agut d’Avignon stands as it was when founded in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona and still keeps in its menu he best traditional Catalan specialities, like the Agut d’Avignon pheasant, the foie salad with mushrooms or the grilled wild boar with raspberry sauce.
